3D printing
The 3D printing space of SPOT is providing students with advanced resources, training and coaching for rapid prototyping.
With a community of more than 500 trained users each year, this modern and evolutionary workshop serves as a 24/7 3D printing farm that produces tens of thousands parts per year.
It is equiped with reliable and well-maintained machines that enable students to learn, innovate and meet their challenges successfully.
Students can use basic (but wonderful) open-access 3D printers right after the training.


For more specific needs, more advanced printers are available under the coach's supervision.

Because sustainability is one of our primary concerns, we also choose the most eco-friendly machines and consumables, and we work towards recycling our plastic waste!

Open access after training. Fast and reliable FDM 3D printer with a 250 × 210 × 210 mm build volume. For PET-G only.
Open access after training. Easy to use FDM 3D printer with a 250 × 210 × 210 mm build volume. For PET-G, technical PET-G and TPU parts.
Only under supervison. FDM 3D printer with 2 extruders and a 360 x 360 x 360 mm build volume. For big and/or multi-material parts :-)
Only under supervison. Very fast and high performance FDM 3D printer. Build volume: Ø300 × 400 mm. For PET-G but also more technical materials, including PEEK!!!
Only under supervison. SLA (resin) 3D printer for high quality surfaces, precision, details, specific properties.
A simple 3D scanner at your disposal for you 3D scanning needs. Can be used as a handheld or table top scanner. Contact Sébastien for further information.
Filament extrusion system, used for recycling PETG waste into new filament! This equipement is part of an ongoing recycling project. Only students involved in the project can use it.
