The Team

The MAKE team is composed of various members with a wide array of competences. The organization of the team is not hierarchical, and we consider that all its members are key elements to complete our missions. The students involved in the different projects, working mainly on their free time on these projects, are also at the heart on the program MAKE !

Julien Delisle

Project management, ideation
Coordinator of the project portfolio and the projects using the makerspaces. Julien helps students at the early stages of a project to ensure their ideas can come to fruition and their projects are structured. When projects gain experience, the students then gain more responsibilities as well, and their projects usually becomes supervised by EPFL Professors/supervisors. Julien is an EPFL alumnus with a background in neuro-prosthetics and worked in this industry of retinal implants and artificial vision before coming back to EPFL.

Pascal Vuilliomenet

Project management
Coordinator of the whole MAKE program, Pascal is overseeing the program and gives a lot of energy to promote project-based and hand-on learning at EPFL. He received the prize of “outstanding employee” in 2023 for his contributions. Pascal also works for the Vice-Presidency of Innovation in projects mixing technologies and sport. Unless your project is related to sport, you should contact other coaches before Pascal (he is quite busy).

Samuel Cotture

Project management, ideation
Coordinator of the infrastructures including the makerspaces of the SKIL and the SPOT. Samuel also coordinates the project EPFL racing team and was a student leader for the project Solar Decathlon during his studies at EPFL.
