SensUs
Description
SensUs is an international student competition on medical biosensors. Every year since 2017, a team of EPFL students has been training and participating in the competition, coached by Prof. Renaud and Dr. Bertsch from the LMIS4 laboratory. In 2023, Prof. Haltice Altug is starting to supervise the project still with the help of coordinator Dr. Bertsch.
All teams present their biosensors beginning of September at the SensUs Innovation Days at the University of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. Each biosensor is evaluated according to several criteria, such as analytical performance, creativity, and translational potential, by representatives from academia, industry, and health.
EPFL teams has won this international competition three times already in the past years.
End-of-project objective
Participate to the SensUs competition with a functional biosensor.
