RoboCup
Description
This project will focus on creating a team to compete in the international RoboCup competition, in the @Home Open Category – a service robotics challenge. This involves the interdisciplinary development of a robot to perform the locomotion, manipulation and perception for assistive service tasks in the home. RoboCup brings together the leading international teams to compete at an annual competition; we aim to develop a team that can represent EPFL at this international level. This interdisciplinary project will sit at the intersection of student project and research project – enabling students to get experience of state-of-the art research approaches, whilst also enabling and providing students with the opportunity to gain skills in leadership, team management and project planning.
End-of-project objective
Participate to the international competition Robocup with innovative robotic solutions to perform servicing tasks at home
Number of students
There are usually 10-20 students doing this project.
