Innovating Health and Sports: Shaping the Future of Active Campus Life
The mission of our association is to transform physical activity on campus by creating an ecosystem of smart, accessible, and playful sports infrastructures that make movement a natural part of everyday life. We bring together students from all sections of EPFL to work on a project combining connected technologies, human-centered design, and innovation in the service of health.
Our current projects are:
Mobile app: At the core of the project, our app connects all activity zones on campus and offers engaging features: community challenges, quizzes, a rewards system, personalized progress tracking, and educational content on health, sport, and nutrition. It also recommends exercises tailored to each user’s level and performance.
Sports stations: Modular sports stations will be installed at strategic locations across the campus. Connected to a fully integrated trail, they offer a wide variety of exercises and are regularly updated to keep users motivated and adapt to all profiles. Linked to the app, they offer personalized workouts, while physical panels ensure intuitive use, even without a smartphone.
Movement and performance analysis: We are developing stations for mobility and fitness evaluation. These allow users to complete quick, accessible tests to raise awareness about prevention, while tailoring exercises to individual abilities on the trails and in the app.
Our vision is to establish a lasting culture of movement on campus. After our initial launch at EPFL, we aim to expand the model to other campuses and cities, promoting a more active and healthier society.
The adventure is just beginning — we are looking for motivated students to help shape the next generation of smart sports infrastructures.
