The Sola Project represents an ambitious challenge: to create a solar-powered aircraft with a 3-meter wingspan! Driven by our desire to explore energy transition technologies, this aircraft aims to complete a flight of at least 8 hours using a renewable energy source: the Sun. We are a team of students who are passionate about this technical challenge and the learning that will come from it. As the project unfolds, you'll learn about the technical aspects, the failures we've encountered and the successes we've achieved, so that together we can dive into this exciting adventure and get our hands dirty in the bowels of an onboard photovoltaic system!
