EMBRYO - How to submit an embryo project proposal and what are the requirements ?

The steps to be accepted as an embryo projects are the following:

1. Meet with Julien Delisle to present your idea informally
2. If the embryo category is adapted to help you, a second meeting will be organized with at least one technical coach of the MAKE network, in order to evaluate the feasibility
3. For this second meeting, the following slides need to be presented
   1. A summary of your achievements within the AI Team during the 2025–2026 academic year.
   2. Your objectives for next year and your vision, particularly regarding hardware-related projects that will have an impact on SPOT.
   3. The rationale behind these objectives (why do you believe they are valuable or worthwhile?).
   4. A timeline for the coming year, including the main milestones.
   5. A longer-term roadmap, presenting the association's vision over the next three to four years.
   6. A brief presentation of the team, including its composition, roles, and organizational structure.
   7. A budget estimate for projects requiring hardware (and therefore the use of the makerspaces).

1. After this second meeting, and if the project is accepted, expectations will be clarified. Depending on the “track” (futur MAKE project for education, futur entrepreneurial project of futur project aiming at impacting society) different objectives will be set
2. The coordination team of embryo projects expects the students to proactively update them on their progress
3. At the end of the embryo phase (end of Mai) a presentation will be asked to the different embryo projects
