SUMMER schedules of prototyping workshops - summer 2026

The information below is subjected to changes at any time, please keep coming back to this page regularly for updates.

The objective is to warn projects about general trends and not exact information.

SKIL will be closed at the following dates

  • Friday June 26th
  • Monday July 27th
  • Tuesday July 28th
  • Monday August 3rd
  • Tuesday August 4th

For the SPOT, specific information will follow up on the doors of each under-supervision workshop, but here are already some information:

SPOT electronics workshop will be subjected to perturbations during the following period

  • Monday July 6th to Friday July 24th
  • Sylvain Hauser will be in vacation, replacement Pascal Morel (Pascal might not be available every day of the week) to contact if specific work to do in electronics
  • More information should be communicated soon on the door of the workshop

SPOT mechanical workshop will be subjected to perturbations during the following period

  • Wednesday June 17th to June 30th
  • Ivan Tomic will be in vacation, replacement to contact Norbert Crot (Norbert might not be available every day of the week) if specific work to do in mechanics
  • Simon Lütolf will be available for the welding room and might help (if time permits) for other equipment
  • More information should be communicated soon on the door of the workshop

SPOT 3D printing workshop will be subjected to perturbations during the following period

  • Monday July 20th to Friday July 31st
  • Sebastien Martinerie will be in vacation
  • Open-access printers (MK4S) WILL be available
  • Under-supervision printers WILL NOT be available.

SPOT immersive room will be subjected to perturbations during the following period

  • Monday August 10th to September 4th
  • The room is likely to be completely closed during that time (to be confirmed)
  • More information should be communicated soon on the door of the workshop
