DELIVERY - Projects with permission to deliver at SPOT
This procedure is dedicated to MAKE interdisciplinary projets allowed to deliver components at SPOT because their supervising lab is not on the Lausanne campus.
If you are not authorized by the MAKE team to deliver at SPOT please do not follow this procedure, you risk to lose your order
1. What is the adress to indicate on Catalyse ?
The adress to indicate if you want your delivery to arrive at SPOT is the following:
- EPFL DLL-STI-PROT #PROJECT_CODE (example SSB for swiss solar boat, to validate with julien delisle)
- Student #SURNAME #FAMILY-NAME
- Batiment DLLEL (SPOT)
- Station 11
- 1015 Lausanne
This is absolutely essential to indicate the project name and the student name associated to the project that will collect the delivery because we have many orders every week and your order could be lost
2. How does it work for deliveries from the Swiss POST?
When you use the adress (indicated in the last pargraph) for your deliveries and if the delivery company is the SWISS POST the following steps will happen:
- The order will be delivered in the same postal box used for our makerspace
- The MAKE coaches (and a few students authorized, see chapter 3) will collect the deliveries a few times a week
- When the deliveries are collected, they are sorted in the room DLLEL 1 34 (only students registered in authorized projects can access this room)
- There is a shelf (not closed) in this room in which there is a dedicated space for each projet authorized to deliver at SPOT
- Students registered in authorized projects will be able to access the office DLLEL 1 34 and open the door (they need to pass by a hotspot to update their camipro rights) and collect their deliveries
- Students collecting should not forget to close the door behind them
3. Student responsible of delivery for a project with access to the deposit box
We can give access to one to two student per project to our mail box. This will allow projects to autonomously collect their deliveries without the need to wait for a MAKE coach to do the sorting process.
In exchange of giving access to students to the delivery box of the SPOT, we expect the student to do the sorting at the same time (if there are deliveries for the makerspace or other projects, to bring them at SPOT and sort them out)
Please ask Julien Delisle to receive access and to show you the process (only 1 to 2 students per authorized project)
4. Lyreco deliveries are specific
Lyreco orders are delivered in a specific mail box that students cannot access, please ask a coach if a delivery is urgent
