What is the adress to indicate on Catalyse ? ===== The adress to indicate if you want your delivery to arrive at SPOT is the following: * EPFL DLL-STI-PROT **//#PROJECT_CODE// (example SSB for swiss solar boat, to validate with julien delisle)** * Student **//#SURNAME #FAMILY-NAME//** * Batiment DLLEL (SPOT) * Station 11 * 1015 Lausanne This is absolutely **essential** to indicate the project name and the student name associated to the project that will collect the delivery because we have many orders every week and **your order could be lost** ==== In order to add this adress to your portfolio of adresses on catalyse you need to follow these steps: ==== First connect to sesame and go on the catalyse portal {{:public:admin:capture_d_ecran_2025-11-06_145837.png?direct|}} . **Second click on 1. How does it work for deliveries from the Swiss POST? ===== When you use the adress (indicated in the last pargraph) for your deliveries and if the delivery company is the **SWISS POST** the following steps will happen: - The order will be delivered in the same postal box used for our makerspace - The MAKE coaches (and a few students authorized, see chapter 3) will collect the deliveries a few times a week - When the deliveries are collected, they are sorted in the room DLLEL 1 34 (only students registered in authorized projects can access this room) - There is a shelf (not closed) in this room in which there is a dedicated space for each projet authorized to deliver at SPOT - Students registered in authorized projects will be able to access the office DLLEL 1 34 and open the door (**they need to pass by a hotspot to update their camipro rights**) and collect their deliveries - Students collecting should not forget to close the door behind them {{ :public:admin:capture_d_ecran_2025-10-31_151536.png?direct |}} ===== 3. How does it work for deliveries from UPS, FEDEX or DHL? ===== When you use the adress (indicated in the last pargraph) for your deliveries and if the delivery company is either **UPS/DHL/FEDEX** the following steps will happen: - The order will be delivered directly at SPOT *At the entrance of the building if no signature are required (image on the left) *At the desk if you requested a signature (image on the right) - The MAKE coaches will sort the deliveries a few times a week, you can intercept your delivery directly at SPOT - When the deliveries are collected by our coaches, they are sorted in the room DLLEL 1 34 (only students registered in authorized projects can access this room) - There is a shelf (not closed) in this room in which there is a dedicated space for each projet authorized to deliver at SPOT - Students registered in authorized projects will be able to access the office DLLEL 1 34 and open the door (**they need to pass by a hotspot to update their camipro rights**) and collect their deliveries if they did not collected it before - Students collecting should not forget to close the door behind them {{ :public:admin:capture_d_ecran_2025-10-31_151656.png?direct |}} ===== 4. Lyreco deliveries are specific ===== Lyreco orders are delivered in a specific mail box that students cannot access, please ask a coach if a delivery is urgent ===== 5. Large deliveries are specific ===== For large deliveries (palette or bigger) that requires special companies and heavy duty trucks, we don't advise to use the SPOT adress for it. If you don't have other solutions, it is important for a student to be available for reception. If we don't know for which project the delivery is adressed, we will send back the delivery ===== 6. Student responsible of delivery for a project with access to the secret deposit box of the SPOT ===== We can give access to one to two student per project to our mail box. This will allow projects to autonomously collect their deliveries without the need to wait for a MAKE coach to do the sorting process. In exchange of giving access to students to the delivery box of the SPOT, we expect the student to do the sorting at the same time (if there are deliveries for the makerspace or other projects, to bring them at SPOT and sort them out) Please ask Julien Delisle to receive access and to show you the process (only 1 to 2 students per authorized project) public/admin/delivery_-_projects_ordering_delivery_at_spot.txt Last modified: 2025-11-06 14:33by Julien Delisle
