====== MAKE projects - Important deadlines ======

===== Context =====
This document provides a few important deadlines to keep in mind for the following projects:

  * [[https://make.epfl.ch/project-categories/make-for-society|MAKE for Society]] projects 

Both of these categories of projects are supported financially by the MAKE program and follow a similar submission process (every year) to ask for funding.

The process is happening only once a year at the end of the Sring semester to request funding for the next academic year

===== Main deadlines =====

  * Mid-April: the MAKE coordination is sending a reminder - to all project supervisors - with all the latest submission documents to fill up. If you found a document online prior to mid-April, it means the document is outdated (even though it will give you an idea of what is required, please write to make@epfl.ch for the latest version)
  * Mid-April to early-June : Julien Delisle is available to help you prepare your proposal
  * Early June: Deadline for submitting the proposals. In 2026, the deadline is set for the 8th of June at mid-night 
  * Between early June and early July: You might receive some clarification questions from the MAKE coordination team
  * Early July: The MAKE strategic committee meets and select projects for the following year. In 2026, the committee will meet on the 8th of July
  * Right after the committee, an email is sent to project supervisors with the decisions of the committee
